Hi,  

I am Indranil Banerjee. I am an associate professor in the department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. I started my academic and research career in 2011 as an Assistant Professor ( full time) in the department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering, NIT Rourkela (an Institute of national importance. In 2019 I joined IIT Jodhpur as associate professor. My lab has been  working at the interface of tissue engineering, bio & nano materials, regenerative medicine, therapeutic delivery systems, nanotheranostics and biomicrofludic. The focus of my research group is to decipher the underlying mechanism of tissue repair and regeneration over a length scale of ‘macro to nano’, and to translate the understanding into bioengineering strategies for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
